Lorna Truett is a native Central Floridian, who after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College, continued her career working as a paralegal in a law firm focused solely on family law. In 2005, Lorna switched gears and became a licensed Realtor, teaming up with a real estate attorney handling a variety of real estate transactions. Lorna earned her law degree from Florida A&M University in 2010 after working nearly a decade in the local legal community.
While in law school, Lorna ranked fifth in her class, and graded onto Law Review. Upon earning her J. D., Lorna returned to her roots, and began her career working as an associate attorney handling primarily family law cases. In 2012, Lorna gained national recognition as a member of a defense team in a high profile criminal case, while handling a full and diverse case load throughout.
Lorna continues to reside in Orlando with her husband, Bill, and two young children.
Lorna Truett is a member of the Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers and the Central Florida Family Law Inn of Court. She was also prominently featured in Orlando Life magazine.
